Iowa Farmland Prices July 9-15th

The average farmland price per acre in Iowa this week is $13,835.38 or $174.55/CSR2. There were a total of 2,204.05 tillable acres sold across 21 auctions. The highest selling farm this week is 157.22 acres in O’Brien County, Iowa which sold for $25,250/acre. Sioux County comes in a close second at $23,400/acres.

According to Jim Rothermich who is a certified appraiser in Iowa, “Iowa land prices were up 15% in six months based on price per CSR2 point.”
