The dollars per acre average may seem low this week which is partly due to the tracts that sold in Appanoose County as you can see from the table of land sales below.
Top Selling Farms in Iowa
The top selling farm was 40 acres in Calhoun County, IA southwest of Rockwell City, Iowa. This farm sold for $18,100/acre has a 86.3CSR2 which resulted in a $209.73/CSR2 point.
Second place went to Story County, Iowa. This 56 acre farm with 85.6 CSR2 sold for $17,100/acre or $199.77/CSR2 point
The third place was for 156.97 acres in Greene County, Iowa which sold for $14,100/acre or $161.70/CSR2.
