DreamDirt was recently the recipient of several important awards for our marketing products.  Each year auctioneers gather at conventions and compete for various marketing awards for the year.  DreamDirt was once again the #1 auction website along with several other awards.  DreamDirt Auctioneers Tom Bradley and Jason Dvorak also competed in the bid calling contest and moved from the preliminary round onto finals which will occur in August at the Iowa State Fair.  Below is a press release that talks about DreamDirt’s awards.

DreamDirt scores four for four in Iowa marketing awards

MONDAMIN, Iowa – DreamDirt walked away from the recent Iowa Auctioneers Association winter convention with four first-place awards out of seven categories for its marketing  and advertising efforts.

“Because we’re in the business of selling land, machinery and other assets for our clients, it’s important to make sure we’re doing so in a way that measures up to others in the marketplace. The IAA’s competition gives us a more objective measure how we’re doing. There are always some really good entries, so it was great to come away with first place awards in each category we entered,” said Jason Smith, president of the firm.

DreamDirt’s first-place recognitions came in the Real Estate, Commercial/Industrial, Website and Business Presentations categories.

Smith said he and wife Nicole started the company in 2006 and remain the core of the business, even though it now has offices in Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri as well as Iowa. “We are growing and expanding, but our top priority is to make sure that we have the resources in place to do a quality job for each seller. DreamDirt may not be the biggest auction company or real estate brokerage around, but we hopefully demonstrated that we can compete with anybody when it comes to drawing attention to an upcoming auction,” he said.

He said a weakening market for farmland makes effective marketing more important than ever. “Farmland prices in Iowa are down 9 percent or more, and that makes it even more important to market every property professionally and effectively,” said Smith.
