One of my favorite duties as the manager of our advertising system is the opportunity to hire new talent for communications roles. I genuinely enjoy other peoples creativity. As a creative myself it’s always exciting to see the abilities of others and how we can adapt those talents to our marketing and advertising products at DreamDirt.
As our business has grown so has our support staff for our Land Brokers and Auctioneers. We are now hiring another Content Creator that will take a lead role in field production for DreamDirt. This new employee will be able to shoot video, edit video, maybe even produce motion graphics. In addition they will be interfacing with our social media audiences through the content they create and managing much of our outreach content.
This position will require travel, nearly exclusively to farms. If you love the countryside and know how to tell a story through media this will be an excellent opportunity for you to join a growing team in a fast paced environment and sharpen your skills! We greatly value your talents and will compensate your fairly for your contribution to our business with wages and benefits.
What is DreamDirt?
DreamDirt is a Farm Real Estate and Auction Company that offers Career Opportunities in the Auction Industry. We are based in Iowa with offices in Des Moines, Mason City, and Onawa. We serve the entire Midwest with farm real estate auctions and real estate brokerage as well as appraisal. One level up, you would consider us an advertising and marketing company. The vast majority of our products are advertising related. Our employees are forward thinkers in the farm real estate and auctioneering industry. We find ways to adapt emerging technologies to best serve our clients and customers. As early adopters of many technologies we have been able to put ourselves in a market leading position and deliver original ideas to the marketplace.
Who should apply to be a Content Creator at DreamDirt?
Anybody can apply. It doesnt matter where you live as long as you can complete the work. We are most interested in candidates with applicable eduction in Communications, Marketing Management or Production Studies. We would be glad to hear from you.
What Does an Auction Content Creator Do?
A Content Creator at DreamDirt would be repsonsible for
- Documenting live in person auctions.
- Creating raw photographs and video for production.
- Producing motion graphics.
- Producing videos to advertise upcoming auctions, auctions themselves, entertainment or informational videos.
- Creating and scheduling social media posts.
- Writing blog posts or instruction docouments.
- Graphic design or layout for promotional materials.
- Conducting on camera interviews and testimonials
- Conducting survey’s and poll’s of our customers and clients.
- Creating concepts of new methods of exposure and reach.
- Meeting face to face with clients to document stories
