Farmbid Farm Equipment Auctions Can Help Salespeople And Auctioneers Find Success

Are You An Auction Professional Or Somebody Interested In Working In Farm Equipment Auctions?
If you have a network of farm operators and equipment knowledge OR you are already in the auction business, FarmBid can help you better market equipment which will help you attract MORE business.
We are seeking new FarmBid Affiliates and FarmBid Reps across the entire nation with an emphasis in the Midwest/Corn Belt. FarmBid Affiliates are auction businesses that partner with FarmBid to access and utilize FarmBid’s online auction capabilities and widespread marketing exposure. FarmBid Representatives are individuals that work directly for DreamDirt. Both earn competitive commission rates or splits by helping sellers learn about, and list, machinery on FarmBid.
Affiliates and Reps cooperating with DreamDirt’s FarmBid auction will get marketing resources to attract new business, access to our successful online auction platform, and full administrative support! We’ll handle all data entry, invoicing, payment collection, and settlement. All you have to do is promote yourself, bring equipment to the auction, and get paid!
What Is Farmbid?
In 2013, DreamDirt launched our first online-only farm equipment auction. We soon realized the online auction platform we were using was not unique and really lacked the solutions equipment sellers were seeking. We went back to the drawing board in 2017. DreamDirt created a whole new auction process that better matches seller’s needs, today’s communications methods, and equipment buyers’ preferences. By 2018 we were able to launch a custom-developed one-of-a-kind online farm equipment auction we call FarmBid. Over a year later, the auction has grown tremendously!
FarmBid is a perpetual never-ending farm equipment auction that breaks out of the typical auction framework. Each item is considered it’s “own auction” – sellers get item-level advertising for their pieces of machinery, equipment can be listed quickly, and bidding can start same-day! We advertise each item individually in order to ensure sellers the highest level of exposure, but we schedule items to close in groups on Thursdays at 2PM in order to ensure consistent and competitive bidder participation. We have found that 10-14 days on the FarmBid auction gives sellers excellent results. When the item sells, sellers get paid quickly, and buyers are expected to pick up the items directly from the seller once we have collected the payment. FarmBid is supported by a full-time staff of assistants and marketing professionals to help our Affiliates and Representatives do more selling and less administrative work!
We’ve worked hard to promote this successful online auction and have built a large buyer audience that continues to grow every week. Our results have been exceptional, and we want to invite you to partner with us to list farm equipment on the FarmBid Auction.
What Is My Role?
As a FarmBid Affiliate or Rep, your name and phone number are listed on the item and all its advertising. This helps you maintain your relationship with your seller and attract more business.
We will also provide you with tools and advertising resources that will help you gain even more business. Not only that, but you will get to take advantage of the online auction opportunities and efficiencies FarmBid provides!
Getting Started
We will be holding an orientation day for new FarmBid Affiliates and Reps on October 23rd from 12-4PM at our Mason City office OR online through webinar. To apply as a FarmBid Affiliate or FarmBid Rep, fill out the form below or call FarmBid Coordinator Rachel Hoy directly at 641-423-6400 Extension 4004. An application will be required to attend the orientation on Oct 23.
We will be interviewing applicants over the next 3 weeks before the orientation in order to ensure as much geographical distance between affiliates so each can benefit from the advantage. For this reason, the opportunity is limited! Apply today!
