Farmland Auction Buena Vista County Iowa

I enjoy the opportunity to market any farm thats trusted to me and this one is no exception.  I will be working for Wayne Clausen in the sale of this farm and its just an incredible farm with 93.9 CSR2 in Buena Vista County.  The farm will be sold in 2 tracts as a High Bidders Choice auction.  The farm is a total of  155.22 Farmland acres of which 148.40 are cropland acres.  The Farm Service Agency reports the base acres for corn are 74.80 acres and soybeans 73.60 acres. Tract 1 will be 76 +/- acres and Tract 2 is 72.4 +/- acres.  The bidding will be based on these numbers.

A High Bidders Choice auction means that the auction will start with the auctioneer taking bids and getting to the highest bid possible.  When all bidding as finished the high bidder will be given the opportunity to take Tract 1 or Tract or or both Tract 1 and Tract 2.  We are often asked “will the parcels ever be combined?”  We will never combine the parcel.  With High Bidders Choice thats not possible, the high bidder will decide if they are ever combined by choosing both tracts.

This auction will be held at Storm Lake Iowa on August 4th at 10AM at the Knights of Columbus Hall 1507 E. Lakeshore Drive.  Farm Credit Services of America Storm Lake office will be on hand to serve refreshments and are always willing to visit about financing.  To visit with them ahead of time call Roy A. Farms of this quality are a rarity on the open market, many of them sell privately to the tenant, the neighbor or private investor but this one is available and will be selling to the high bidder on August 4th.  If you can’t join us in person but still want to bid on the auction we offer online bidding for all of our land auctions.  To bid online you can use our website or download our APP for smartphones and tables.  Once you register we will contact you to get copies of your bank letter of credit or proof of funds and visit with you about the auction and how it will work bidding online.  We have had bidders successfully buy farms bidding online so while it may be new to you, we have been using this method for several years and it is very easy for you.  We always invite you to come bid the old fashioned way too, come to the auction and raise your hand like you are used too, we would love to see you there!
