History: Situated in south-central Iowa, Warren County has a rich history that dates back to its establishment in 1846. The county was named after Joseph Warren, a Revolutionary War hero. Agriculture quickly became a cornerstone of Warren County’s economy, with farmers cultivating the land and contributing to the county’s prosperity.
