How To Get More Money Than You Paid For It!
Online Farm Equipment Auction Success
As our FarmBid Online Auction came to a close yesterday, our team was messaging our excitement back and forth in our online office. Almost every auction item had extended bidding, which meant bids continued to come in even after the auction was scheduled to end. One item extended 19 times! Several items extended more than 10 times, and almost all of them extended at least 3 times. A Central Iowa farmer had multiple items on our FarmBid online auction this week. It was his first time marketing equipment on this auction.
“It was my first time using FarmBid to sell farm equipment, and to be honest I was a little apprehensive to begin with. That all went away when I realized how easy and successful my auction was! I didn’t have to drag the equipment to town, the FarmBid guys did all the work taking photos and posting them on the site, and I even watched the auction online while planting today. Some of the items even brought more than what we paid for them! I could not be happier after working with FarmBid” -Russ Keating
What Is FarmBid?
FarmBid is a unique online farm equipment auction that offers equipment sellers improved turn-around time, full market values, same day payments, safe selling experiences, advanced marketing and targeting, and a nationwide crowd of bidders. DreamDirt wanted to set our auction apart when we started work on FarmBid in 2017. We knew online farm equipment auctions were becoming the norm and we’d been doing them for a long time ourselves. But, we also recognized that everything out there was exactly the same. We also recognized the pace at which technology was changing our industry, people’s communication methods, buyer and bidder habits, and that people had less time to do more.
Lightning Fast Turnaround
One unique option on FarmBid is that it is not date specific. It breaks out of the traditional auction framework by allowing sellers to list an item to have anywhere from 1 to 30 days of bidding. The FarmBid Auction never ends, and each item in the auction becomes its own individual auction.
Our item-based marketing approach means your item gets actual and specific advertising! Gone are the days when your piece is just lumped in with a bunch of other items in what many call a Multi-Seller Auction. With FarmBid, its about you and your item. Each individual piece that goes through FarmBid gets its own individual ads. We precisely target those ads to end users of equipment, not wholesalers.
Anybody that sells farm equipment on an auction wants the best price they can get. The best buyer is an end user, somebody that will take that piece of equipment to their farm and use it. Our advertising is aimed at end users – farmers. FarmBid is so easy to bid on that they can do it from anywhere at anytime.
Safe Selling Experience, Same Day Payout
At DreamDirt we take care of our clients. We understand their unique needs. Whether the need is to raise capital quickly, or just maximize the value of a particular item, we offer fast responses, quick communications, and same day payout!
Advanced Marketing and Targeting
We have sold farm equipment for years and we’ve learned a thing or two about finding the right buyers. Today’s advanced digital targeting methods makes advertising farm equipment to a mass audience much easier than the old days of print advertising. We still use print, but we’ve invested heavily in data acquisition and mobile technologies that pair together perfectly for a great selling experience.
True Nationwide Bidders… And More!
We’ve registered bidders for farm and land auctions from all 50 states and multiple other counties. Our ability to expose your equipment over a very wide area is the result of a combination of resources and the network of bidders we’ve built over the years. These assets continue to build everyday as more and more buyers and sellers do business with our company.
