Iowa Recently Sold Farmland

There was a total of 31 tillable farmland auctions during July 16th – 22nd in Iowa. For the 3,841.13 acres sold, the average price per acre is $11,481 and the dollar per CSR2 point is $157.40 which is slightly lower than the previous week’s data. Farmland in Northwest Iowa proves to be the top-selling with O’Brien County having the highest dollars per acre again this week with 148 acres selling at $21,050/acre sale. There were several tracts of land that sold in Adams county ranging from $5,600 -9,700/acre which could have had an impact on the overall average prices this week.
