A total of 450.26 acres were sold in Iowa this past week. The average price per acre for the four land auctions was $10,675/acre and $175.66/CSR2 point. Learn more about CSR2.
Top Selling Farms in Iowa
This week’s top-selling farm was 80 acres in Howard County, IA which sold on April 20th. The farm is located Southwest of Cresco, Iowa, and sold for $12,200/acre. This farm had a 70.4 CSR2 resulting in a $173.30/CSR2 point and is 98% tillable.
The next highest-selling farm went to two tracts in Plymouth County, Iowa which sold on April 12th by auction. Thract 1 of 577 acres sold for $11,700/acre located Northwest of Hinton, Iowa, and has a 64.8 CSR2 which totals to $180.56/CSR2. Tract 2 consisted of 151.26 acres and sold for $10,000/acre. This tract has a lower CSR2 rating of 45.7 which calculates to be $218.82/CSR2.
The third high-selling farm goes to Marshall County, Iowa located Northeast of Zearing, Iowa. This farm of 142 acres sold for $8,800/acre. This farm has a 67.7 CSR2 rating resulting in a $130/CSR2 point.
