Iowa Farmland Prices April 8th-14th, 2023

A total of 1,202.77 acres were sold in Iowa this past week. The average price per acre for the 13 land auctions was $13,668.54/acre and $181.20/CSR2 point. Learn more about CSR2.

Top Selling Farms in Iowa

This week’s top-selling farm was 36.81 acres in Dubuque County, IA which sold on April 11th. The farm is located South of Dubuque, Iowa, and sold for $22,391/acre. This farm had an 70.2 CSR2 resulting in a $318.96/CSR2 point and included a mobile home, outbuldgs, grain bins, on a small acreage.

The next highest-selling farm went to Carroll County, Iowa. This 50-acre 94% tillable farm sold for $20,000/acre located North of Coon Rapids, Iowa has an 87.5 CSR2 which totals $146/CSR2. This farm was sold by a live auction and online auction on April 13th.

The third high-selling farm goes to the second farm in Johnson County, Iowa located West of North Liberty, Iowa. This farm of 117 acres sold for $16,600/acre. This farm has an 85.4 CSR2 rating resulting in a $194/CSR2 point.
