A total of 1,465.78 acres were sold in Iowa this week. The average price per acre for the 11 tracts of land auctions is $14,055.91/acre and $174.59/CSR2 point. Learn more about CSR2.
How much is farmland in Iowa worth currently?
This week’s top-selling farm is 16 acres in Story County, IA which sold on July 26th by auction. This farm is located Southwest of Davenport, Iowa and sold for $23,205/acre. The CSR2 rating of the farm is 66.1 which totals to be $351.06/CSR2 point on this 65% tillable farm.
The second highest selling farm that sold this week went to 64.85 acres of farmland in Marshall County, Northeast of Zearing, Iowa which sold on July 27th for $17,425/acre. CSR2 rating on this farm is 93.5 which totals to be $186.36/CSR2 on a 95% tillable farm.
Third highest selling farm of the week is located in Marshall County, as well. There were a total of 10 tracts that sold and the one mentioned above was tract 1. Tracts 2-5 were sold for $15,078/acre and $167.35/CSR2 for 320 acres.
