Iowa Farmland Prices June 2022

As you can see from the cover photo, we saw a slight decrease in average price per acre from May, but a huge increase in the number of acres sold from 2,784.05 to 15,470.04 acres of farmland in Iowa sold in June! The dollars per CSR2 point for June is $178.10. This is considerably higher than a year ago when it was only $152.93/CSR2.

June average price per acre of farmland in Iowa is $13,623.18/acre which is higher than last week’s average from June 25th – July 1st sales of $12,502.31/acre. Examine the table below to see recent farmland auction results across Iowa from last week. The highest selling farm was in Dickinson County, IA 39.60 acres sold for $21,100/acre or $242.81/CSR2
