Iowa Farmland Prices September 10th – 16th, 2022

There was a total of 15 tillable farmland auctions that happened this week in Iowa. A total of 1,713 acres were sold. The average price per acre for the 15 auctions is $11,319/acre and $146.95/CSR2 point. Learn more about CSR2.

Top Selling Farms

The top selling farm was 76 acres in Calhoun County, IA just outside of Lohrville. This farm sold for $18,700/acre has an 87.3 CSR2 which resulted in a $214/CSR2 point.

Second place went to Des Moines County, Iowa. This 45.92 acre farm near Burlington with 90.1 CSR2 sold for $17,063/acre or $189 /CSR2 point

The third was in 36.83 acres South of Kiron in Crawford County, Iowa which sold for $15,100/acre or $191/CSR2.
