Recent Land Sales in Iowa

A total of 2,349.70 acres were sold from August 6th-12th in Iowa. The average price per acre across the 21 farmland auctions is $13,326.67 and $170.51/CSR2.

The top selling farm was 154.62 acres in Plymouth County selling at $20,100/acre. A farm in Franklin county sold for $17,000/acre for 132.70 acres and several auctions resulted in the $15,000/acre range. 

We received some rain finally in Iowa! This week has been busy with the Iowa State Fair! Be sure to attend if you haven’t done so already. The fair ends Sunday, August 21st.
