Iowa Farmland Prices October 29th- November 4th, 2022

This week, 32 auctions of tillable farmland were held in Iowa. A total of 2,847.03 acres were sold. The average price for all the auctions was $12,914.06/acre and $165.61/CSR2 point. Learn more about CSR2.

Top Selling Farms in Iowa

This week’s top-selling farms were 38.07 acres in Lee County, IA on November 1st and 80.46 acres in Sioux County, IA on November 4th. Both farms sold for $22,700/acre. The Lee County farm had an 80.6 CSR2 resulting in a $281.61/CSR2 point. Likewise, the Sioux County Farm had a 96.4 CSR2, resulting in a $235.48/CSR2 point.

Second place went to 78.13 acres in Sioux County, Iowa on November 4th. This farm sold for $18,600/acre, which had a 94 CSR2, resulting in a $197.87/CSR2 point.

Third place went to Lyon County, Iowa. This 80-acre farm with a 70.3 CSR2 sold for $16,900/acre or $240.40/CSR2 point
