A total of 1,338.94 acres were sold in Iowa this past week of which 1,268.94 were tillable acres which we keep track of. The average price per acre for the 13 tillable land auctions was $11,728.62/acre and $151.73/CSR2 point. Learn more about CSR2.

Top Selling Farms in Iowa

This week’s top-selling farm was 80 acres in Buena Vista County, IA which sold on January 11th. The farm was located South of Storm Lake, Iowa, and sold for $17,400/acre. This farm had a 94.6 CSR2 resulting in a $183.93/CSR2 point by timed online-only auction.

Second place went to Sac County, Iowa. This 111 acres sold for $16,300/acre located Southwest of Sac City, IA. Has an 86.8 CSR2 which totals $187.79/CSR2. This farm was sold by live and online auction at Sac County Fairgrounds in Sac City, Iowa.
