A total of 2,619.47 acres were sold in Iowa this past week. The average price per acre for the 27 land auctions was $11,025.07/acre and $156.41/CSR2 point. Learn more about CSR2.

Top Selling Farms in Iowa

This week’s top-selling farm was 43.31 acres in Story County, Iowa which sold on March 23rd. The farm sold for $17,000/acre. This farm had an 87.9 CSR2 resulting in a $193.40/CSR2 point.

The next highest-selling farm went to Story County, Iowa, as well. This 80-acre 96% tillable farm sold for $16,100/acre and has an 84.7 CSR2 which totals $190.08/CSR2. This farm was sold on March 23rd.

The third highest-selling farm goes to Linn County, Iowa. The auction took place on March 22nd. This 68.77-acre farm sold for $15,750/acre. This farm has a 54.8 CSR2 rating resulting in a $287.41/CSR2 point.
