Current Average Price Per Acre Land in Iowa

Check out the table below of all the auction results from January Iowa land sales. For the month of January, the price per acre average of land in Iowa is $12,627 per acre, compared to December’s per acre average price of $12,657.13. A year ago, the average price per acre was $3,016/acre lower at $9,611 per acre in January of 2022. Reach out to us for an opinion on what we think your farm is worth if you are considering selling.

If you take a look at the graph to the right you will see a decrease in farmland acres sold at auction from December to January. In December, we saw 10,450.25 acres sold by auction and only about half that, 5,458 acres in January.  If you are thinking of selling, now is the time to reach out to learn more about the process! Price Per CSR2 Point Iowa Farmland

The price per CSR2 point decreased $4 from December and is currently at $168.64/CSR2 point. Which is a quite a bit higher than it was a year ago at $138.28/CSR2. This value is used to help calculate what your farm is worth.
