Average farmland prices for North Dakota in 2016
2016 has shown a continuing decline in farmland prices across North Dakota along with other plains and Midwestern states.

The following is a list of average farmland prices for all counties in North Dakota. Farmland prices stated as averages may not be an accurate reflection of the exact value of your farm. While it could be very close farmland quality does vary from farm to farm. The highest valued farmland is tillable acres with high yields. Farmland that may have drainage and yield issues typically falls on the lower end of the spectrum. Its important to note that averages are the best way to track land values but it does not mean that you farm will not bring more or less at auction.
These average farmland prices stated as 2 different numbers. The first is non-irrigated pasturelands and the second number is non-irrigated tillable cropland as of April 2016 based on the North Dakota Extension Service report.
