There were 11 tillable farmland auctions (80% or more tillable) that happened this week in Iowa. A total of 1,162.11 acres were sold. The average price per acre for the 11 auctions is $14,950/acre which is up from the previous week and $181.1/CSR2 point. Learn more about CSR2.
Top Selling Farms in Iowa
The top selling farm this week was 40 acres in Plymouth County, IA on the East side of Le Mars. This farm sold for $20,500/acre has a 82.1 CSR2 which resulted in a $250/CSR2 point and has developement potential.
Second place went to 68.07 acres in Warren County, Iowa south of the Des Moines Airport along highway 5 and Fleur Drive which wasn’t all tillable farmland and sold for $19,000/acre on October 20th.
Third place went to O’Brien County, Iowa. This 112.46 acre farm with 93.7 CSR2 sold for $17,700/acre or $195/CSR2 point
