Number of Acres Sold in Iowa During October 2022

If you take a look at the graph to the right you will see a decrease in farmland acres sold at auction from September to October. In October, we saw 6,717.09 acres sold by auction. Average Price Per Acre Land in Iowa

For the month of October, the price per acre average of land in Iowa is $12,432.59, a slight decrease from prices in September. A year ago, the average price per acre was $11,870.13 in October of 2021. Could this be because of rising interest rates?
