196+/- Acres In Sac & Crawford County, IA Brings Excellent Price
On August 29, 2019 our team traveled to Wall Lake, IA for the Margaret A Boes Living Revocable Trust Auction. We were extremely fortunate the Boes Family trusted us to represent them in the auction of the Boes Family Farm.
Mary Boes, the executor for the Margaret A Boes Living Revocable Trust, began researching her options back in January 2019 upon her mother’s passing.
“Out of many, many different auction companies, I felt that DreamDirt was the most professional. And in my interaction from January to now [August], I cannot say enough good things about the company. The responses were immediate. If I called the Communications Manager, Kristen Lowe, or Jason Smith, the Auctioneer, things were thoroughly explained to me. Terminology that I was unfamiliar with was explained, and it was really, really helpful to me in understanding the process.” – Mary Boes
The Land For Sale
This auction was conducted as a live auction with online bidding. The farm included 196 acres which was sold in two tracts: 120 acres in Crawford County, Iowa and 78 acres in Sac County, Iowa. This farm was leased for 2019 and sold with a tenant of 25 years in place. Prior to the auction, Jason worked with Mary, and her attorney, to terminate the lease; however, everyone involved was in complete agreement and cooperated in a wonderful fashion.
