Bio
Nicole, a native of Odebolt, Iowa along with her husband Jason founded DreamDirt Auction Company. She is a graduate of Auction College and Professional Ringman’s Institute.
Nicole was a computer programmer and, believed that her husband’s career in farmland sales could be complemented with internet bidding. This was nearly a decade before the industry grasped online bidding. Nicole joined the family company full-time at the birth of their first child. She then began to develop new ways to integrate online bidding into their farmland auctions. Additionally, she created automated functions for farmland bidders to make their experience better. She was the first auctioneer in the state of Iowa to take a bid for farmland over the Internet, by YEARS!
As DreamDirt’s farmland auctions became more and more prevalent across the state, DreamDirt’s technology became the choice of many more sellers others started to offer similar options. Nicole spearheaded the effort to develop DreamDirt’s current auction bidding platform BidCapture. Her vast experience with farmland auctions and technology helped to create the first and ONLY farmland auction software.
