It has been a distinct honor as a farm real estate broker and auctioneer to be the voice of so many family farms over the years. As one of the top producing farm auctioneers in Iowa I’ve been awarded many awards for various things, appeared on national television and publications many times but nothing compares to the satisfaction of representing a family farm to its fullest potential and winning the approval of so many families and heirs. I have since expanded to North Dakota, Nebraska, Missouri and Minnesota and enjoyed more opportunities to represent even more families outside Iowa.

Over the course of my career I’ve rewritten my biography several times because as you move through this career you grow and experience new challenges and rewards. As a child of the farm crisis days we knew something was happening because we heard the adults talk about it but we had no idea just how difficult things were. In fact I’ve often said “we were the richest poor people there could be” because despite the hardship we were growing up in the Iowa countryside which was a great life. Today I get to represent many of those families that survived the terrible hardship and have turned many of them or their heirs into millionaires with the fall of the hammer.

Over the years I’ve participated in every imaginable broker and auctioneer education program even receiving my CAI designation which less than 1% of auctioneers have ever accomplished and while education is an important part of the fabric that makes me up I believe the one single quality that has set me apart from others is my unwavering support of my clients. I’m not a list and wait kind of auctioneer or broker. We are constantly pushing the the boundaries of marketing in every way we can at DreamDirt to find every last possibility for our clients.

I founded DreamDirt after years of working in this industry for other brokers and auctioneers. I knew I had a special opportunity to breath new life into an exhausted industry.
