Inside Sales Representative

We are actively seeking an Inside Sales Representative who is energetic, driven, and dedicated to pursuing greater growth. This person will be expected to work out of our Mason City office – a newly renovated, modern, and exceptional space to work! Along with being provided lists of potential clients to contact, this position will be expected to organize those contacts, follow up, and nurture them through the sales process.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Call prospective customers, determine their need, and offer DreamDirt solutions
  • Target prospective clients for both land and machinery sales
  • Understand the needs and expectations of prospective clients and offer DreamDirt resources to answer questions
  • Handle lead traffic and keep customer relationships organized and nurtured
  • Demonstrate online bidding platform to potential clients
  • Operate DreamDirt’s CRM platform and assist outside sales with client relations
  • Manage a database of potential customers and contact them regularly
Skills:
  • Should be an expert in navigating MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Should be familiar with CRM platforms and procedures
  • Impressive personality and ability to convince prospective clients through conversation
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • High level of self-confidence, energy, and personal drive
  • Good organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to analyze the market and target potential clients

  • Certification or knowledge in HubSpot is a plus
Requirements:

FarmBid Representative

The online farm auction industry has grown exponentially in the last decade. DreamDirt responded to this market by building our instant and perpetual online auction platform, FarmBid. As an Online Auction Representative, you will help producers, dealers, and farmers place farm equipment in FarmBid to help them sell their items by reaching top market value.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Call prospective customers, determine their need, and offer online auction solutions
  • Target prospective clients for machinery sales
  • Understand the needs and expectations of prospective clients and offer FarmBid resources to answer questions
  • Handle any lead traffic and keep customer relationships organized and nurtured
  • Explain contract to sellers and turn in signed copy with pictures and videos of equipment to the full-time auction coordinator staff 
  • Demonstrate FarmBid’s bidding platform to sellers and how bidding will work
  • Be willing to travel and meet with customers in person
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of farm equipment
  • The ability to build connections in the area they live
  • The sales skills to help producers maximize the value of excess properties by selling them on FarmBid
  • Represent FarmBid and yourself professionally

Our independent representatives are an integral part of our business. You will gain knowledge and tools through our orientation process, and can further that education through our annual DreamDirt University course. Your work will be supported by our full-time staff who administrate the online auction platform and advertise the property. When you have the support to serve your clients, we all win.

This is a 100% commission position. Each client that sells with DreamDirt brings in a commission that is then split between you and the company. You will no longer be limited to a specific amount on payday, and you take your earning power into your own hands. The more work you do, the more money you make!

Farm Real Estate Agent

Farm Real Estate Agents earn income from:

  • Representing property sellers and buyers 
  • Real estate consulting
  • Creating real estate appraisals

Simply build connections in the area you live, develop relationships with property owners, and gain clients who want to maximize the value of their property through auction.

We strongly believe our agents are the most important part of our business. Your work will be supported by our full-time staff who administrate the process and advertise the property.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Seller’s Agent:
    • Explain contracts to sellers and turn in signed copy with pictures and videos of the land to the full-time staff
    • Show sellers DreamDirt’s bidding platform and how bidding will work. Follow up with sellers before and on auction day to confirm sale of the auction when reserve has been met
    • Put signs on property and hang up fliers to advertise farm for sale/auction 
    • Call bidders on auction day to check-in and answer questions 
    • Answer questions from interested buyers appropriately and respectfully when representing a seller’s property 
  • Buyer’s Agent:
    • Help buyers find properties and schedule times for viewings or capture drone videos for them to view the property.
    • Represent buyers at auctions or help to them write offers and negotiate with listing agent
  • Market Analysis/Everyday Tasks:
    • Call prospective customers, determine their need, and offer online auction solutions
    • Target prospective clients for land sales
    • Understand the needs and expectations of prospective clients and offer DreamDirt resources to answer questions
    • Handle any lead traffic and keep customer relationships organized and nurtured
    • Be willing to travel and meet with customers in person
    • Create Market Analysis for sellers or others that express interest in what a farm is worth
    • Create social media posts with the help of full-time staff if needed to gain business
Requirements:
  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must be licensed to sell real estate OR eligible to become licensed
  • You must pass a pre-screening assessment
  • You must invest in necessary start-up costs such as acquiring your real estate license, personal advertising materials, and additional training
  • Represent DreamDirt and yourself professionally
