Iowa Farmland Sales Summary
As you would expect this time of year, week 15 is pretty dull. We are stuck in a really cold steak, soil temps won’t warm up, winter continues to linger with more snow this week and while the calendar says it is Spring Mother Nature isn’t paying much attention to “our plans” to get a crop planted this year.
Average Price Of Farmland In Iowa
Based on the 3 farmland auctions this week the average price of 80% tillable farmland in Iowa was $7,752.28. This calculates to an average of $101.17 per CSR2 point slightly below our current state average of $109.38 for 2018.
Farmland Sales Volume In Iowa
