Do auctioneers have to have a license in Iowa?
Surprisingly, auctioneers in Iowa are not required to have a license. However, our team of auctioneers are licensed brokers and real estate agents and three in our company hold the prestigious designation of Certified Auctioneer Institute (CAI) training from the National Auctioneer’s Association. Less than 1% of auctioneers in the nation have achieved this level of education. For this reason, we have been called on to sell some of the most notable farms and complicated sales.
