Recent Farmland Auction Results in Iowa

The average price per acre across 17 tillable farmland auctions that happened from August 13th – 19th, 2022 was $13,801.18/acre. A total of 1,885.45 acres were sold and averaged $172.93/CSR2 point. The highest selling farm was 80 acres in Ida County which sold for $20,300/acre or $218.51/CSR2. The second highest selling farm went to 160 acres in O’Brien County selling at $18,800/acre or $203.24/CSR2. Third place went to another 80 acres in Ida County, selling for $18,400/acre or $214.20/CSR2.
