Iowa Farmland Prices July 15th-21st, 2023 Report

A total of 1,413.64 acres were sold in Iowa this week. The average price per acre for the 14 tracts of land auctions is $11,986.64/acre and $148.59/CSR2 point. Learn more about CSR2.

How much is farmland in Iowa worth currently?

This week’s top-selling farm is 80 acres in Story County, IA which sold on July 20th by auction. This farm is located South of Zearing, Iowa and sold for $17,100/acre. The CSR2 rating of the farm is 88.5 which totals to be $193/CSR2 point on this 95% tillable farm.

The second highest selling farm that sold this week went to 60 acres of farmland in Kossuth County, North of Fenton, Iowa which sold on July 20th for $14,700/acre. CSR2 rating on this farm is 85.5 which totals to be $171.93/CSR2 on a 97% tillable farm.

Third highest selling farm of the week is located in Dallas County, Southwest of Perry, Iowa This farm sold on July 15th for $13,500/acre and $154.64/CSR2. This farm consisted of 143.16 acres and is 96% tillable.
