A total of 1,848 acres were sold in Iowa this week. The average price per acre for the 14 tracts of land auctions is $16,175/acre and $192.44/CSR2 point. Learn more about CSR2.
How much is farmland in Iowa worth currently?
This week’s top-selling farm is 31.21 acres in Polk County, IA which sold on August 3rd by auction. This farm is located East of Elkhart, Iowa and sold for $24,050/acre. The CSR2 rating of the farm is 87.9 which totals to be $273.61/CSR2 point on this 96% tillable farm.
The second highest selling farm that sold this week went to two tracts – 115.5 acres of farmland in Benton County, Southwest of Garrison, Iowa which sold on August 2nd for $21,000/acre. CSR2 rating on this farm is 92.1 which totals to be $230.18/CSR2 on a 95% tillable farm.
Third highest selling farm of the week is located in Story County West of State Center, IA. this 200 acre farm sold for $17,700/acre or $200/CSR2 point.
