A total of 2,082 acres were sold in Iowa this past week. The average price per acre for the 19 land auctions was $12,554/acre and $168.25/CSR2 point. Learn more about CSR2.
Top Selling Farms in Iowa
This week’s top-selling farm was 74 acres in Benton County, IA which sold on February 3rd. The farm was located Southwest of Keystone, Iowa, and sold for $20,600/acre. This farm had a 94.6 CSR2 resulting in a $217.76/CSR2 point by live and online auction.
The next highest-selling farm went to O’Brien County, Iowa. This 99.01-acre 96% tillable farm sold for $19,100/acre located East of Sheldon, IA has a 95 CSR2 which totals $201/CSR2. This farm was sold by a live auction and online auction at the Sanborn Community Center.
The third high-selling farm goes to Harrison County, Iowa Northwest of Woodbine. The auction took place on January 30th at the Crew Center in Woodbine. Tract three sold for the highest at $18,800/acre. This 75.7-acre farm has an 86 CSR2 rating resulting in a $218/CSR2 point.
