How much is farmland in Iowa worth currently?

This week’s top-selling farm was sold by us at DreamDirt and is 78.79 acres in Sac County, IA which sold on August 23rd by auction. This farm is located South of Odebolt, Iowa and sold for $18,500/acre. The CSR2 rating of the farm is 90.1 which totals to be $205/CSR2 point on this 100% tillable farm.

The second highest selling farm that sold this week went to Sac County as well and was on the same sale mentioned above. This 76.37 acre farm sold for $17,025/acre and is 95% tillable. CSR2 rating on this farm totaled 90 which puts sale price $189.17/CSR2.

Third highest selling farm of the week is located in Chickasaw County West of North Washington, IA. this 80.76 acre farm sold for $15,600/acre or $194/CSR2 point.
