Iowa Farmland Prices August 5th – 11th, 2023 Report

A total of 1,533.55 acres were sold in Iowa this week. The average price per acre for the 19 tracts of land auctions is $11,594.74/acre and $168.86/CSR2 point. Learn more about CSR2.

How much is farmland in Iowa worth currently?

This week’s top-selling farm is 87 acres in Story County, IA which sold on August 11th by auction. This farm is located Sotheast of Roland, Iowa and sold for $18,800/acre. The CSR2 rating of the farm is 88 which totals to be $213/CSR2 point on this 99% tillable farm.

The second highest selling farm that sold this week went to O’Brien County west of Sanburn, IA. 179.79 acres sold for $16,900/acre and is 100% tillable. CSR2 rating on theis farm totaled 96.2. 

Third highest selling farm of the week is located in Story County West of Colo, IA. this 79 acre farm sold for $16,600/acre or $187.57/CSR2 point.
